Organically grown produce, fresh out of the garden

Members of the CSA at Maysie's Farm enjoy delicious, nutritious, organically grown produce from late spring to late fall, every year, as well as the satisfaction of belonging to a community of people dedicated to sustainable agriculture.

Weekly pick-up at the farm, flexible scheduling

Members pick up their just-harvested produce once a week at the farm. They can select their regular harvest day from the two options available:

And within the limits of the harvest, further choice is possible at pick-up when members can select their vegetables according to their needs. "Quantity Guidelines," which help members assess the quantities appropriate for their share sizes, are flexible enough to accommodate personal preferences.

A variety of vegetables, selected to meet your needs

Members' preferences are also important in determining which crops and which specific varieties are grown. The crop availability chart shows the expected harvest seasons for some of the crops grown at Maysie's Farm.

Opportunity to participate in the garden, but no work requirement

Certain crops, such as peas, beans, cherry tomatoes, blackberries, herbs, and flowers are available on a pick-your-own basis. That is, members are able to harvest them at their convenience, in the quantities that they need. This policy encourages members to get out into the garden, to experience the sensation of eating peas, for example, right off the vine and to share with their children the wonder of seeing tiny seedlings mature and yield beautiful, delicious, nutritious food.

Our cooperative partners offer local, organically-raised beef, pastured chickens and eggs, raw milk dairy products, wild-caught Alaskan salmon, and organic breads and cookies

In our continuing effort to provide you with the best local food available, Maysie's Farm is pleased to be in partnership with several cooperative partners, including Wild for Salmon, Sweetwater Baking Co., Ben Stoltfus' Dairy, Pleasant Pastures Organic Acres and Green Haven Farm.
